WHY UNIVERSITIES LOVE JON

Jon really surprised me with his whole story. It was fascinating to hear how he started his company on his own from the ground up with limited resources. I was really impressed, especially with his marketing tactics because he basically uses no money to draw people into his business.
— Joni Dickerson (Marketing Student at La Sierra University)
As part of a special program at Musicians Institute, I was fortunate to have Jon Kage, alumni from the school and founder of RockHome Lessons, come in and give an inspiring workshop for our students. His personal story of success took us through a step by step process on how students can use their passions to make a living for themselves. Jon’s presentation skills are exceptional....his business model is something to marvel. We are proud to call him an MI success story.
— Chris Fletcher (Career Counselor at Musician's Institute)
As an academic advisor, I work here with a lot of students and a lot of them are kind of fearful of chasing after their dreams or their parents sort of overburden them on what they should do with their lives or many of them are uncertain of what they want to do. I think what Jon presents is a very tangible way for students to get involved with their passions and be able to live it out very methodically. He’s also able to relate to many of the students due to the fact that he’s young and started at their age. As an advisor I found Jon’s lecture very valuable in that it provided really good insight for all the students here.
— Ricky Kim (Academic Advisor at La Sierra University)
Jon Kage is a fantastic speaker that has a great way of presenting how challenging and yet rewarding the life of an entrepreneur can be. I was impressed of the ingenuity and the way he approached obstacles when building a solid ground for his company, RockHome Lessons. It was a pleasure meeting him at the lecture he had at La Sierra University and I feel very fortunate to have listened to his experience. I’ve always thought the right amount of humor with the right amount of knowledge makes for the perfect speaker and Jon is the perfect example.
— Teodora Balaj (Business Management Student at La Sierra University)
While attending business colloquium, we had a very talented entrepreneur, Jon Kage, introduce his journey into entrepreneurship with his company RockHome Lessons. But it was much more than just a lecture that day. Speaking out to the collective group of students, he completely energized the specific individuals who constantly think about their future in the present. Since that night, I see entrepreneurship at a completely different perspective. Jon Kage is a talented entrepreneur who seeks to affect the world, whose ambition speaks for itself.
— Ali Zafar (Business Student at La Sierra University)
